The Atari Jaguar was the last mainstream gaming console from the once-dominant Atari Corporation, marketed as the world's first 64-bit system in 1993. Despite ambitious technical specifications and a few notable games like Alien vs Predator and Tempest 2000, it struggled with development difficulties, limited third-party support, and sold fewer than 250,000 units before being discontinued in 1996.
