She hasn't explained why the EDF seemed to know exactly where you'd be, or why she went to the trouble of extracting you specifically when the smart move would have been to cut losses and run. Tools click steadily in the corner. The atmospheric processor hums. Outside, dust storms sweep across terrain so hostile that nothing follows you here by choice. You're safe. You're also completely in the dark, and the woman who saved you keeps watching you like she's waiting for you to remember something important.
