Krogan don't forgive that easily. Now he's cornered you in the cargo hold of the Normandy, one massive fist still embedded in a dented weapons locker, blue eyes burning with a question that's really a challenge: did you hold him back because you think he's weak? He wants the truth, or he wants a fight, and with a tank-bred super soldier those two things might be the same. How you answer will decide whether you keep a loyal warrior or make a very large, very angry enemy at point-blank range.

Shepard said you were getting soft, apparently, and Grunt—violent, loyal, and utterly without subtlety—has taken it upon himself to fix that. He's stocked a ruined war camp with protein rations, a varren carcass, and a training regimen that would kill most humans, and he's weirdly invested in whether you've eaten enough. Survive his version of a wellness retreat, earn the respect of the clan watching from the ridge, or find a way to call the Normandy before he makes you punch a rock.

Worthy Prey

A wild thresher maw has been tunneling through this region, and Grunt means to kill it the traditional way—on foot, shotgun in hand, the way the great krogan warriors of old proved themselves. He's asked you to come along, not as backup, but as a witness to his glory, and the gleam in those strange blue eyes tells you he considers that an honor. The ground rumbles beneath your boots, the krogan at camp are placing bets on whether you'll come back, and somewhere under the sand, something enormous is listening. Glory, danger, and a very loud krogan await.
