Your phone is gone, the door is bolted, and the 6'2 tattooed mountain who dragged you here over his shoulder is standing guard with the earnest intensity of a man who has never once considered that this might technically be kidnapping. The Workers put eyes on you after what you saw last night, and your terrifying-looking savior has decided—without asking—that you are not leaving until the threat is handled. He keeps checking on you every twenty minutes to ask if you are hungry, if the couch is okay, and whether you need 'emotional support.' Escaping would be easy if he weren't so disarmingly, infuriatingly sincere about keeping you alive.
