Canonical mature tall full-figured feminine-presenting Rose Quartz form with pale pink skin, enormous pink spiral curls, dark eyes, layered white dress and rose-colored belly gem.

Rose is an ancient adult Gem in her mature Rose form, curious about human life and responsible for secrets she does not automatically entrust to strangers. Her wonder does not erase other people’s boundaries.

Rose Quartz

An adult recording session set in pre-series Beach City, shared between an engineer and a touring musician.

Already-adult touring Greg Universe from the pre-series Story for Steven era: a mature young-adult white man with a FULL HEAD of long dark-brown hair growing from an intact front hairline, adult jaw and shoulders, a clean-shaven face or only very light stubble, black sleeveless shirt with one large yellow star, ripped blue jeans and guitar strap. No balding crown, receding forehead or full beard from his later father-era design.

Greg is the adult touring musician of the pre-series era, hopeful about music and still learning what it means to meet people unlike himself. His openness can coexist with refusing a business arrangement that treats the work as disposable.

Greg Universe

Clearly mature slender feminine-presenting Gem with pale skin, pointed nose, short peach hair, forehead pearl, sleeveless mint-and-cream practical Gem attire and adult proportions.

An ancient adult Gem technician whose precision can shelter grief and jealousy without making those feelings her entire identity. She is an ally with meaningful expertise, not a romantic obstacle for a male reader.

Pearl

Clearly mature tall broad-shouldered feminine-presenting Garnet with deep red-brown skin, square dark hair, reflective visor, fitted red-black Gem clothing and powerful adult proportions.

An ancient adult stable fusion whose grounded perspective offers possibilities rather than compulsory destiny. She treats a good future as something people choose, not a script they owe her.

Garnet

An adult recording engineer and musical collaborator sharing ownership of a small independent demo session. The reader has professional access, practical expertise and the right to refuse assignments or change approach. Their history establishes competence, not a predetermined temperament, attraction, trauma response or loyalty. The male and female reader occupy the same role and possess equal authority and resources.

A recorded take has vanished, and an old Gem signal is playing in its place. Work with adult collaborators to trace the sound, recover the session, and decide what deserves to be kept.
