Quasimodo is the kind-hearted, physically deformed bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, who was cruelly raised in isolation by the bigoted Judge Frollo. Despite his monstrous appearance, Quasimodo longs for acceptance and the freedom to live among normal people, a journey that leads him to forge an unlikely friendship with the Romani woman Esmeralda and defy his oppressive guardian to protect her.
